All these ships are identical in size and passengers accommodations. The only
difference is in the decorations on board. The early ships were dominated by
neon lights and glitz. The later ships in this serious became more subdued.
They are not the elegant wood and brass designs found on Holland America (also
owned by Carnival) or other premium lines, but they are fun designs that appeal
to the young and young at heart.
The atriums make quite an impression on Carnival's Paradise class ships.
They are all a little different from each other. Some have lots of neon and
lights. The Las Vegas influence is clear. This is the atrium lobby area of
the Paradise which is unique in that she is a totally non-smoking ship, the
only one from the major cruise lines. It has been very popular and Carnival
indicates more non-smoking ships may be on the way..

The lounge on the right is Duke's. A jazz bar and lounge that brings back memories of Duke Ellington and other great jazz stars. This lounge is on the Elation.

This is the casual restaurant on the Fascination. The main dining rooms carry on with the unique theme of each ship and has plenty of glowing lights and glitter. The casual restaurants are always include some unusual designs.
The top of the line is the category 12 suite with a large cabin
and a large balcony. On this class ship these cabins go up to 400 square feet
including the 70 square foot balcony.

The smallest balcony on the Paradise class ships is a category 11 cabin with a small 30 square foot balcony and nice sized 220 square foot cabin. This is about the same size as the category 8 cabins on the new Destiny class Carnival ships. There are also not very many category 11 & 12 cabins on these ships.

The standard oceanview cabin is quite roomy at 185 square feet.

Even the inside cabins are roomy. This is a Category 4 inside. The two beds can be made into one large bed. Carnival also has a less expensive Category 1 cabin with upper and lower beds that do NOT make into one large bed. Often times their specials are for this category 1 cabin.
